Flight Training
If you have ever wanted to get into flying R/C airplanes, there is no better place to try flying. There are a few instructors at the field with their own trainer planes, that would be more than happy to take you for a flight. (this may have be scheduled) Now you can't beat that!
Learning to fly is very easy. It's like having 2 people in the plane at all times. The way it is done is by using what's called a "buddy box". The instructor will let you have the buddy box, while the instructor takes the main controller. This allows the student pilot to have full 100% control of the aircraft. If (I mean WHEN) the student starts to loose control, or just needs some help, the instructor takes over command! There is no handing this and that to each other, and the aircraft is safely recovered (over 90% of the time). Folks it just doesn't get any better than that! Full control, Pilot in command, nothing like it!
Here are some photos of a student pilot in action with a Hobbyco 40 Trainer, Futaba radio gear.
Stop out and see us at the field sometime, now there are no excuses!
